Finally started the site. Slowly but surely making it more visual. not too much though due to the fact that we kinda wanna keep this simple yet groove. Working on getting the guestbook up and a counter that doesn't incredibly stink. Rion is hopefully going to get some time tomorrow to scan in some pics and check to make sure most of everything works. We're gonna add some backgrounds maybe tonight...something besides just white...i don't care what...just simple and easy and something that doesn't require alot of tedious work....

Rion and myself decided on some other looks for the page, and it's a drastic improvement we think...but if you've never been here...then perhaps..........YOU HAVE NO IDEA! On another note...do not watch Burn Up Excess, it is below par and uncoothe.

More changes and updates. Hopefully tonight we'll get done with the A-kon galleries and such, then I can inquire about getting linked from the A-kon page and such. Looking for some circulation. Don't wanna be this little page in the corner that only we can see...spooky...can't wait for October though...gonna give the page a temporary look for All Hallows Eve...BOO!

Almost seems like Furi Kuri is never gonna come out. I think I'm just gonna get it on fansubs or something. I'm tired of stupid company picking up titles, then never releasing them. It's stupid and it makes me wanna buy the fansub and NOT buy the DVD. On a more positive note, I'm nearly done with the A-kon 13 gallery and have come to a realization...making galleries in Frontpage express is a pain I don't need. I'm gonna burn everything I have thus far onto a CD-R cause I'm paranoid and if something happens to all the files I have, I'm not gonna feel like going through all that crap again..or the server failing on Tripod..it's happened before. But..if you'd like to check out the nearly completed A-kon 13 gallery, just go under Imagery and you'll see the link. ^_^ Thanks and enjoy!

I've added my A-kon 9 journal to the site and some other things. I'd like to finish up the A-kon 13 galleries but time sucks and I do have other things I want to do. Check out Documentation, Con's, and Bios for updates. Also, Duel Jewel will be back this next year at A-kon 14...good deal huh?! Members who haven't already, look at the profile layout in the bios, and base your own profile after that and email it to the site email. Good deal! Member Icon's coming soon!

It's been a long while since I've had time for this, but Rion and myself are planning to add some more "look" to the page and make it more navigational. Currently trying to get more play on the net, mainly on some A-kon's page...but to no prevail thus far.

Well, I must say, it's been a while. Work, eat, and sleep has been my schedule here lately, but I'm hoping Rion and I can get some stuff done tomorrow. I'm gonna post another gallery here soon of the club members, even our overseas Navy friend Ewok. The club will be meeting up here in a week for our A-kon planning and to discuss things we're gonna do to insure a better year...imparticular cutting ties on things that will only drag us down. As far as what I've updated, just the schedule, this page, and some profiles.

Aside from
not hanging out much, we need to get prepared for real this
year. Over planning is the best option this year even
though after last year I figured against it cause anything can
happen. BUT considering most of our problems that occurred
last year don't pose to much of a problem this year...I will go
back to what needs to be done with our gig. We're planning
the meeting for February 16th, Sunday. We'll start around 8
pm and here's the rundown of what we'll be discussing:
1. Food and drinks
2. gas money
3. hotel arrangements
4. pet peaves
5. annual a-kon pillow fight
6. anime night 1 week prior to A-kon
7. last a-kon's problems
8. meeting spots
9. who's getting in line for tickets and who's in line for rooms
10. considering picking up 2-way radios for easier contact
11. cosplaying
12. night before a-kon arrangements
ryan and myself compiled a long list of things to do to prepare. i'll try and send everyone one or get everyone a copy. while i'm at it i will discuss expenses. these are the max and least amounts of moola you'll need to bring:
room + badge + other expenses = 172 (MAX)
room + badge + other expenses = 132 (LEAST)
that is all folks. take it easy until then. remember...i need the rest of the a-kon money. thanks!

While trying to wind down for the night, I coasted by the Duel Jewel website and checked the BBS for any info or replies and sure enough, Val, the drummer (great guy) had apparently shouted out to a few people, and to my surprise, I was one of them. Being new to the BBS and him having so many replies and being the busy guy....well...here's what he wrote...since A-kon he's gotten very good at his english!

Due to complications with my FTP program, the A-Kon galleries 5-8 are temporarily down. I'll have them back up within the week, so sorry for any inconvenience. ^_^ On another note, I'm looking very much forward to the club's A-kon meeting, where we will discuss everything from planning to stuff to avoid or people to avoid. We'll watch some footage from last years con and it will lift everyone's spirit's and give them something to live for!!!!! hehe...a bit on the Excel side I am right now....

Being the persistant cockroach I am, I'm still trying to bring this site together and get us some links going around to get people to the site. I'm looking for feedback like a motha and hoping we get posted on the A-kon page. Those people are great and very busy so I'm gonna give another try and see what I can do. I've been talking to some of those behind the scenes and have been handing out flyers like crazy at my work (Software Etc....I can do that...why you ask...cause I rule...and we are sponsoring the game rooms!)

Longer than I would have liked, I've been absent on here...although I doubt there's anyone really watching. I've been sick and feeling like crap and some stupid #%$)#)(^*)#@*)*)#$ just stole my work clothes from the dryer in my apartments. I smite that person with my mini-bat and they will feel the pain...I hate thieves. I hope whoever stole my clothes gets hit by a train or something bad happens to them...cause if it doesn't...and I find them...they'll wish they had been run over and hospitilzed....RAH!!!!!
On a more positive note, Val from Duel Jewel informed me to be on the look out for Shun on the BBS. It's great hearing from a band that pays attention to their fans, even with their popularity...I don't know many bands who actually do that. Heck, if you're on the go, all you need is a laptop and 20 minutes to write a brief reply. Great bands show appreciation...and thank the fans with something more than just a "Thanks for coming" which equals "Thanks for paying the bills!"

I'm so SICK! I was supposed to have the galleries that were down from the ftp server problem fixed, but i got very very very sick and am still getting over it. Whatever it is, it's the worst I've felt in a very very long time. Hopefully by Thursday I'll feel better and my day can be partially spent on the site..

Seenco and myself are sitting here, about to fix some things on the site and get everything lookin better..while we listen to the Gitaroo Man soundtrack...err..part of it. My D: drive was missing on the comp earlier for some unknown reason...but not is back....I dunno. Anywho, look here soon for some new stuff here soon. We're gonna try and get some video footage on here from A-kon and one of our anime nights...who knows..we may put our annual A-kon pillow fight on here..which is dang humorous...tickle dem der humor bones in dat der arm you gots ya der...
